Una pre-alert AAVSO comunica la scoperta di una nova in Cefeo al momento di magnitudine 11.Visibile dalle nostre latitudini e alla portata di molti strumenti. Alcuni spettri a bassa risoluzione ripresi ai primi di febbraio indicano la Nova Cep 2013 essere una Fe II classe,tipicamente una nova classica le coordinate sono:

Si ha notizia in queste ore di una possibile nova nel Deldino.Poche ore fa dagli Usa veniva data di magnitudine 5.5.<br>Al momento non esiste una allerta AAVSO ma nel link sottostante si trova una cartina di riferimento con la notizia.Per ora mancano altri dati.<br>Riporto di seguito la news sul sito CV curato da Mike Simonsen

Discovered by Koichi Itagaki, Yamagata, Japan, using 0.18-m reflector + unfiltered CCD. This Nova was confirmed on the frames taken on August 14.750 UT using 0.60-m f/5.7 reflector + unfiltered CCD after discovery. Then CCD magnitude is 6.3. Also nothing is visible at this location on his past frames (limiting mag.= 13.0) taken on 2013 August 13.565 UT.

Following the posting on the Central Bureau's Transient Object Confirmation Page about a possible Bright Nova in Del (TOCP Designation: PNV J20233073+2046041) we performed some follow-up of this object through a 0.43-m f/6.8 astrograph + CCD from MPC Code I89 (iTelescope network - Nerpio, Spain) and through a 0.25-m f/6.3 Schmidt-Cassegrain + CCD from MPC code C82 (Sorrento, Italy).

Possibile Nova nel Delfino

Si ha notizia in queste ore di una possibile nova nel Deldino.Poche ore fa dagli Usa veniva data di magnitudine 5.5.
Al momento non esiste una allerta AAVSO ma nel link sottostante si trova una cartina di riferimento con la notizia.Per ora mancano altri dati.

GR Ori in super-outburst

Rod Stubbings dall'Australia riporta un outburst della sospetta vecchia nova (Nova Ori 1916),stimandola visualmente di magnitudine 13.0 a Febbraio 11.476 UT (JD 2456334.976).Questa osservazione è stata confermata da Stephen Howell (New Zealand),che ha ugualmente riportato la stella a magnitudine 13.0 Febbraio 11.461.Mike Simonsen (AAVSO) fa notare che la sospetta progenitrice di questa stella ha una magnitudine intorno alla 22.8 nella Sloan Digital Sky Survey,suggerendo un ampio outburst di 8-10 magnitudini,e che la stella potrebbe essere una WZ Sge dwarf nova piuttosto che una nova classica o ricorrente.La maggioranza delle osservazioni di questa stella sono visuali e il comportamento degli outburst è poco studiato.Naturalmente si sono notati aumenti di luminosità nei decenni passati.
Osservazioni di GR Ori,specialmente time series in V sono richieste ed aiuterebbero a comprendere meglio questo oggetto.
